Meet Sawyer Ellingboe
Introducing Sawyer Ellingboe, our Head Early Childhood Education (ECE) Facilitator. With an ECE certificate and specialized training in Forest and Nature School practices, Sawyer brings a wealth of experience as a former camp director at Blue Lake Summer Camp. Sawyer’s outdoor enthusiasm extends from skiing to kayaking, reflecting her love for nature. Her global travels enrich our child care program with diverse perspectives.
Sawyer finds joy in fostering children’s confidence and self-resilience through outdoor play. Her leadership ensures an engaging and inclusive environment where curiosity thrives. Sawyer’s dedication and outdoor education expertise contribute to the unique and vibrant atmosphere at Ray of Sunshine Child Care. We’re fortunate to have her guiding our young learners.

At Ray of Sunshine Child Care Center, we maintain a low educator-to-child ratio of 1:6 to provide individualized attention and ensure children’s safety and well-being and allows our educators to focus on the specific needs of each child and provide quality care and guidance.
Our educators receive training on inclusive practices and utilize appropriate strategies, resources, and support networks to ensure the best possible care for each child. We adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Child Care Licensing Regulation to ensure the well-rounded growth of every child, regardless of their abilities.
We strive to create a holistic learning environment that fosters the development of children in all areas. Our dedicated team of educators, supportive programs, and inclusive practices work together to provide a nurturing and enriching experience for every child.
